The campaign that will ban nuclear weapons
The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) is a coalition of non-government organizations in one hundred countries advocating for a strong and effective nuclear weapon ban treaty. Such treaty was adopted on 7 July in New York and opened for signature on 20 September.
ICAN has been the leading civil society coalition advocating for a treaty prohibiting nuclear weapons and has been instrumental in the work to achieve this treaty.

3. Donate to the campaign
ICAN works to ensure that civil society campaigners from all around the world are able to lobby their governments effectively to prohibit and eliminate nuclear weapons. We organise civil society meetings, ensure media coverage, share information on social media and work with parliamentarians and government officials to get as many governments to support this treaty. This requires a lot of resources. Help us get all states onboard by donating to the campaign today!
